Mutant Ninja Turtles Boys Bedroom Ideas?
I’m looking for some ideas and products for a boys bedroom with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle theme. My son is 7 years old son loves everything, especially the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Where would I find Mutant Ninja Turtles bedding and accessories? What color should I paint a boys bedroom with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme? BTW my son has a full sized bed and I also need to get him a nice desk for doing his homework at. Thanks.
Thanks for your question. Finding boys bedroom decor accessories that work with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme is certainly a challenge. My first recommendation is to gather all your son’s Mutant Ninja Turtle items together and see what you have and how you could incorporate theme into his bedroom. For instance, you may want to display some your son’s collectible toys on a wall shelf. Just be sure to position the shelf at a height appropriate level so your son still has access to the toys for play.
These days finding Mutant Ninja Turtles bedding is next to impossible. What you may want to consider instead is a nice green/brown plaid, a solid green or beige comforter, or green camouflage bedding set. Tossing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pillow or soft toy on the bed would also add to the look and appeal of the bedroom.
As for paint color, select a shade that works well with the items you have on hand but also is a color you will want to keep after your son outgrows his Ninja Turtles phase. I’d suggest since most of your son’s toys will be dark green, you go with either a lighter green shade or add some contrast with a sand beige or light khaki color. You should be able to find a nice paint color by visiting The Land of Nod’s collection of Mythic Paint.
I’d recommend wall decals as a way of bringing the look of a boys bedroom together. Purchasing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle poster or two is another good idea.
By selecting a basic bedding set and and wall color you will have a the foundation of a boys bedroom that will stand the test of time and one that can be switched up over the years by taking away and adding in a few select decor accessories. For instance, you would now have the backdrop for a nice outdoors/nature bedroom or a army/hunting/camouflage bedroom. Or, if your son decides he likes airplanes, motor cross, skateboarding etc. the room could easily be adapted. The only limit is your imagination.
Best of luck with creating a boys bedroom your son will love!
